Is your child due to start school in September 2019?
Your child can start primary school in the September after they have reached the age of 4
(i.e. children that were born on or between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015).
Online applications for Reception Class places for September 2019 have now closed.

Summer born children
If your child has their 4th birthday during the period 1st April to 31st August 2019, the Department for Education guidance and the School Admissions Code allow parents to delay entry of their children into the school system if they do not feel their children are ready to begin school at this point. Admissions during the school year
We warmly welcome new children and their families to our school community. Parents/carers who are considering sending their child to Gurnard Primary School are very welcome to come and visit us. We will be happy to show you around the school and answer any questions that you might have.
